Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Bruning Law Group, LLC ("Bruning Law Group," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the State Attorney General Portal mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create or are provisioned an account, we collect your name and email address, and we maintain authentication credentials needed to sign you in.
- Content you create. The App lets authorized users add notes, to-do items, and similar entries. We store this content so it is available to you and your team.
- Calendar access (optional). If you choose to add an event to your calendar, the App requests calendar permission. Calendar data is used only to create the event you requested and is not collected by us.
- Technical and usage data. We and our service providers may process limited technical information (such as app version, device type, and log/diagnostic data) to operate, secure, and improve the App.
The App is a professional reference tool. The attorney general profiles, races, organizations, and related information shown in the App are reference data and are not personal information about you.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the App and your account.
- To authenticate you and send account-related emails (for example, email confirmation, password reset, and account notices).
- To store and display the content you and your team create.
- To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve functionality.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers. We use trusted third parties to operate the App, including authentication and database hosting (Supabase), transactional email delivery (Resend), and cloud hosting/storage providers. These providers process information on our behalf under contractual obligations.
- Within your organization. Content created in the App may be visible to other authorized users of your organization.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Bruning Law Group, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App, and thereafter as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify associated personal information, subject to limited retention where required by law.
Your choices and rights
- Access and update. You can review and update your account information within the App's Account Settings.
- Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Account Settings (the account icon on the home screen) by choosing Delete Account, or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Email. Account-related emails are necessary to operate the App; if you no longer wish to receive them, you may close your account.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. To exercise any right, contact us at support@blgapp.ai.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted transport and secure credential storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The App is intended for authorized professional users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
